We were excited to work with Deana, the Director of Brock House Day Nursery, on the redesign of their website. Having originally designed the first Brock House website several years ago, we recognised it was time for a refresh with some innovative ideas. The new website was carefully crafted to be both engaging for parents and user-friendly, ensuring a welcoming and easy-to-navigate experience.
The new website reflects the nursery’s award-winning reputation and also captures the essence of childcare including their new emphasis on the highly acclaimed ‘curiosity approach’. We’ve introduced a modern, friendly design that’s both visually appealing and easy to navigate, with a new colour palette to match! The children at Brock House Day Nursery love exploring nature and their surroundings, so we chose a natural colour palette including shades of green, blue and yellow to help capture this.
To convey the welcoming atmosphere of Brock House, we incorporated subtle animations of cartoon animals, insects and flowers throughout the website. These playful touches add a sense of fun and wonder, which establishes a connection with the nursery’s target audience!
The end result is a website that not only showcases Brock House Day Nursery’s exceptional care but also creates a warm and inviting online space for parents. It’s a platform where they can learn about the nursery, explore the facilities, and find all the important information they need.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Chrissie on the design of our new updated website. Chrissie listened to my ideas, paying close attention to detail. Chrissie was very patient, when I changed my mind about things, and my new ideas became more elaborate. Both Chrissie and Alistair were friendly and did everything we asked in a timely manner. The website is better than I imagined.
The website mirrors the company’s identity and Chrissie understood what I wanted to accomplish . The final product is functional, tasteful and aesthetically pleasing. Chrissie guided us through the whole process, even following up with additional training.
